Refund policy
At QROOT, we want every customer to have a smooth and happy growing experience. Please read our refund and return policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Window
You can request a return or replacement within 7 days from the date of delivery, only if:
- The product is damaged during delivery
- The product has a manufacturing defect
- You received the wrong product
- Any main item is missing from the box
- The device is not working when received

Please include your order number, photos/videos of the issue, and unpacking video if available.
2. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return or replacement:
- The product must be unused or only tested for checking functionality
- The product must be returned with original box, accessories, adapter, pod kit, grow domes, and manuals
- The product should not be damaged due to misuse, mishandling, wrong power input, water spillage outside normal use, or physical breakage after delivery
- All original packaging should be available
QROOT reserves the right to reject a return if the product is used, damaged, incomplete, or not in resalable condition.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are not eligible for return once opened or used:
- Seeds
- Grow sponges / cocopeat pods
- Nutrients / plant food
- Used grow baskets, domes, or consumables
- Any accessory that has been used with water, seeds, or plants
However, if these items are received damaged, expired, leaking, or missing, we will provide a replacement after verification.
4. Damaged or Defective Product
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please share:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
- Short video showing the issue
- Unboxing video, if available
After verification, we may offer:
- Free replacement
- Repair support
- Spare part replacement
- Refund, where replacement or repair is not possible
5. Refund Process
Once your return is approved and the product is received and inspected, we will process the refund to your original payment method.
Refunds are usually processed within 7–10 working days after approval and inspection. The actual credit time may depend on your bank, card provider, UPI, or payment gateway.
Indian e-commerce sellers are expected to process accepted refund requests within a reasonable period as per applicable consumer protection and payment rules. (High Court of Tripura)
6. Replacement Policy
If your product has a genuine manufacturing defect, we will first try to resolve it through troubleshooting, spare part replacement, repair, or product replacement.
Replacement is subject to stock availability. If the same product is not available, we may offer an alternative product or refund.
7. Order Cancellation
You can cancel your order before it is shipped.
Once the order is shipped, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, you may raise a return request after delivery, subject to this policy.
If QROOT cancels an order due to stock unavailability, pricing error, payment issue, or any operational reason, a full refund will be issued.
8. Return Shipping
If the return is due to a damaged, defective, missing, or wrong product, QROOT will arrange pickup or guide you on return shipping.
If the return is approved for any other reason, return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
9. Warranty-Related Issues
This return policy is separate from the product warranty.
After the 7-day return window, any product issue will be handled as per QROOT’s warranty policy. Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, unauthorized repair, water damage due to incorrect handling, or normal wear and tear.
